We've teamed up; now it's your turn.
At Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta and the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, kids are our first priority. We share a community of children—many Stollery kids are wish kids too—and offer support at different points of their medical journeys. We have a common goal: to give sick kids a fighting chance and change their lives.
By forming a team and joining Joy Ride, you will make a difference in the lives of our kids. It's an event that requires just a little of your time but makes such a big impact in return.
Together we’re riding for their lives. Register today!
Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta
Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
If you could make a wish, what would it be? At Make-A-Wish we believe wishes change the odds for kids fighting critical illnesses. Wishes help children look past their limitations, improve their quality of life and give them a better chance of recovery. Wishes renew optimism and resilience, and offer families a break from one of the most difficult trials of their lives. A wish can change everything.
Along with the national office, eight regional chapters grant life-changing wishes to children in need from coast-to-coast. Make-A-Wish Canada is an affiliate of Make-A-Wish® International, the largest wish-granting organization in the world, making dreams and wishes come true for more than 415,000 children since 1980. Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta granted 110 wishes in 2017, and continues to pursue our vision of granting the wish of every eligible child.
